Redhook Ale Brewery – Winterhook (Winter Warmer)

  • 6.00% ABV
  • I had seriously low hopes for this beer, mostly because Winter Warmer’s are gross. That coupled with the fact that it is 6 moths old and I was certain it was going to be fucking awful but, it isnt. It is pretty good. It has a ton of malt’s in it but it isnt sweet which is kind of rare nowadays. I probably wouldnt drink more than 1 of them in a row but for that 1 I would enjoy it. I really which I had tried it when it was fresh.

The Traveler Beer Co. – Curious Traveler (Fruit Beer)

  • 4.40% ABV
  • Well this isnt good. Like at all… Its is kind of on like that “Hard Lemonade” crap but it is a little worse because of the malts. I seriously dont know what they were going for, because you could take a glass of lemonade and pour a Miller Lite into it and it would taste like this. Does that sound good? If it does, I would like to offer you a glass of ferret musk cut with milk.

Lawson’s Finest Liquids – Sip of Sunshine (American Double)

  • 8.00% ABV
  • Welp here is another world class beer from Vermont brought to me by the same crazy ass dude who brought me the Susan (which is one of the best beers I have ever had). Same deal to, that crazy fuck drove through one of the biggest snow storms of the year to get beer. Now dont get me wrong, I love beer, a lot… But damn son! What ever, I got some kick ass beer out of the deal, like this one for instance. Holy shit it is good. Normally I am not a fan of imperial IPA’s but damn it if this isnt smooth as shit. I can honestly that the Susan is better but that in no way means this is sub-par. The only down side I could say it has is that it tastes so good that you could drink a mess of them and then wind up sleeping in your bathtub with no idea how you got there. Actually that sounds awesome, so I guess there really isnt anything bad at all to say about it.

Southern Tier Brewing – Right*O*Way (American IPA)

  • 4.50% ABV
  • I guess everybody and their mother is brewing session IPA’s (low ABV), and that is good for me. I know I have said it a 1000 times but it is true… IPA’s taste great but normally the ABV is to high for me to enjoy them. I really REALLY like drinking IPA’s but I actually hate getting hammered more. So session’s are pretty much awesome. This might not be the tastiest one I have ever had but it is good and I can enjoy it and still be able to see straight. Win win.

Lost Rhino Brewing Company – Exesus Sanctum (American Wild Ale)

  • 6.10% ABV
  • The weirdest sour ever! It is a sour that is oddly softened by peaches. It still has that FUCKING delicious sour taste but it is softened with a peach taste on the back end. So god damn good. For real good. I know sour’s arnt very many people’s favorite thing, Michelle hates them. But this is so good. And the sourness is really complemented by the peaches. I have no idea what else to say other than try this.

Apocalypse Ale Works – Golden Censer (Witbeir)

  • 5.00% ABV
  • I like Witbier’s, they are light tasting with neither overbearing hops or malts. It is kind of what I wish American Macro beers tasted like. Honestly anything that doesnt taste like a rusty butthole is a step up on Macro and thats why I lkie this. It is what I would give to my friends who dont like “Craft” beers. Yup, its pretty good.

Bent Hill Brewery – Jarrylo (American IPA)

  • 6.20% ABV
  • Bent Hill is a really good brewery, I think. I was super serial excited to try this because Bent Hill is a good brewery. I was also excited by trying a new hop, Jarrylo??? What the hell is that, awesome I bet. Nope. The beer (and maybe the hop) are lame? I dunno it isnt bad by any means but it is bland. Maybe I was looking for to much because it was Bent Hill?

Lagunitas Brewing Company – Night Time (American Black Ale)

  • 8.20% ABV
  • Lagunitas makes Day Time which is probably my number 1 go to beer for when I just want to have a beer. The thing that I like about Day Time is that it tastes like a normal awesome IPA with a decently low ABV. I am tired of super high ABV beers but I want a nice high IBU beer and it is perfect. So you can imagine that I was super happy to find Night Time, same concept but like a Black IPA? Sign me up! Even better, it tastes great, very similar to Day Time but with that Black IPA twist. And then I looked up the ABV, sad… It is a really good beer though. Its just that I can only drink like 2 of them until I start raving about old Friends episodes and taking off all of my clothes.
