Mission Brewery – El Conquistador Extra Pale Ale (American Pale Ale)

  • 4.80% ABV
  • First off, yes, that is a comically large beer can. Like a pair of clown shoes, or one of those big ass foam finger sized. That alone makes this worth trying and thankfully there is more. It is actually pretty good tasting. I am a little weirded out by it in so much that there is a noticeable lack of malt taste. I guess that is the Extra part of what they call an Extra Pale Ale. It’s strange because every time I try it I do a mini double take, thinking that the is something wrong. I dunno it is pretty good.

Full Pint Brewing Company – Chinookie (IPA)

  • 6.20% ABV
  • Welp, I was fortunate enough to get a really good, but retarded friend. End of statement… I mean it, he is a giant retard who is also a a pretty good guy. And well… if you are lucky enough to get a giant retard friend then you will also get beer. In my case I got a case… a CASE of really good beer! I have been bitching for a while about not getting any new beer that I like and now I have to come clean. I have been drinking this for a while and judging all of the other new beers by it. It is so good! It is so good that all of the other crappy beer have tasted shittier than normal. This is a good IPA, but what makes it better is that some retarded asshole bought it for me.

Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project – Saint Botolph’s Town (English Brown Ale)

  • 5.90% ABV
  • Let me start by saying that I don not like brown ales, like at all. For real, I dont like them. Now with that out of the way I have to say that this is fucking delicious. Easily the best brown I have ever had. It is doing the whole brown ale this (malt) with a light touch. I guess most of my complaints with brown ales has been that most brewers are do browns with malts like they do IPAs with hops. Going insanely overboard with them. While I love it in IPAs I have hated it with malts and this, in my opinion, bucks that trend. All in all, this is a great beer.

Blue Hills Brewery – Pub Draft IPA (IPA)

  • 6.60% ABV
  • Welp this is only marginally better than the last Blue Hills beer I tried and that isnt saying much because the last one really sucked. This one just kind of sucks. It is an IPA but I truly believe I have made a better IPA on my own. It has no American IPA hop punch you would expect and the is really no aroma to it at all. At least it isnt sweet?
