So I cant tell the difference between this and the Trader Joe’s Hefeweizen which makes me sad, because while this isnt a bad beer (I kind of like it) it isnt a Dunkelweizen. It totally misses what a Dunkelweizen is supposed to taste like, at least in my mind. Dont get me wrong, it tastes good, but if you are looking for a dunkel dont go here.
This is actually pretty good. It is pretty much hit or miss trying one of the Trader Joe’s beers. Normally you can tell by who the actual brewer is how good the beer is, but this time it is actually Trader Joe’s. Or at least they say it is. Any way it is pretty good and while it didnt jiz in my pants after tasting it I do like it.
This is (I am guessing) the what a English Pale Ale is supposed to taste like, and I dont like it. Uhhg it is bland and boring. It is pissing me off that I have to finish it. It should be noted that I am not pouring it out tho so it isnt that bad.
Well… It is an American adjunct? I dont know what else to say really. It isnt bad enough to pour out but I dont really want to finish it. I assume this is marketed towards people who want to try new beers with out really trying something new. Meh…
Its a little sweet. I dont know I accidentally looked at the beeradvocate rating before I tasted it so that might be coloring my opinion. God damn it I hate that site. Any way, I have had worse tasting beers but it isnt something I am going to go look for.
This is surprising, I was thinking that because it was brewed for Trader Joe’s it would be weak/middle of the road. It is actually pretty good in so much that it tastes like what I want an IPA to be. It smells great too.
