Harpoon Brewery – Pott’s Landbier 100 Barrel Series #32 – (Vienna Lager)

  • Low Goodness
  • Harpoon is no joke when it comes to beer and this is a stellar example of one of their beers. It is way darker in the look then the taste… Which is awesome, not to mention the smell which is even better. I dont know know what kind of alchemy they have going on in their brewery but it is working

Lagunitas Brewing Company – Hop Stoopid (American Double)

  • Highish Goodness
  • Hoooeee, this beer makes me a happy camper. All of the retards who crap all over extract brewing should be forced to try one of these and then when they start weeping over the realization that they have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to extracts, I get to punch them in the mouth. As with most of the Imperial/Double’s I couldn’t drink more than one a night, but that one is going to be awesome. EXTRACT! Fuck ya!

Bear Republic Brewing Company – XP Pale Ale (American Pale Ale)

  • Average Goodness
  • That was not was I was expecting. Mostly American brewers are going overboard on Pale Ale’s and IPA’s trying to make they off the chart IBU wise. This is different, it is a little bitter. I mean you can tell that it is using Pale hopps but that isnt the sole purpose in the taste. It is really, really good.

Hoppin’ Frog Brewery – Wild Frog Wheat Ale (Hefeweizen)

  • Highish Goodness… For a Heffe
  • Well it certainly smells good, and as for as the taste goes it isn’t to bad for a Hefe. OK it awesome for an American Hefe, it is probably one of the better ones  have had. But what the hell does that say about the Americans??? This is the closest to a good German Hefe as I have had, and while it is good as shit it is way damn harder to find than a German.
  • + Buy it again if you can find it

Privatbrauerei Franz Inselkammer KG / Brauerei Aying – Ayinger Weizenbock (Weizenbock)

      • Highish Goodness
      • Really??? I am not sure how Ayiner feels comfortable  passing this off as beer, because there is no way you could classifying this as a “beer”. It is to good to be put in the same class as all beer’s, it needs to be in a god beer category. Shit tastic spasim in my mouth, which is what I comapre this to… Damn it, what ever! Buy this beer.

Old Dominion Brewing Company – Dominion Octoberfest (Oktoberfest)

      • Average Goodness
      • Not bad. It is kind of all up in your face with the malts but I think that might just be an excellent example of the style.
      • + Buy again, but only for making the fall a happy time.

What the fuck I didn’t take a god damn picture of this one. I have 256 beers at this point and this is the first one I have missed.

Staatliches Hofbräuhaus (Hofbräu München) – Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier (Oktoberfest)

      • Average Goodness
      • Damn it! This has the Green Bottle Beer smell to it. I dont know what the hell is going on but after that I cant taste it for real. I know they have the German purity laws going on but I do know it got skunked on the way over here. God damn frustrating, if I got it fresh it would probably be awesome.
      • – Dont buy again… (Stupid green bottle).
