So you know how people bitch about their Mother In Law? Well mine is pretty awesome, she bought me a ton of Michigan beer and brought it down for me. Well it is probably just a thank you gift for taking one of her daughters off of her hands. She has like 8 of them, serious that lady made a lot of kids. Any way this is a Pale Wheat, a style I dont really drink that often and I know remember why. Dont get me wrong, this is a pretty good beer but I dont really dig all of the malts in it. It is also kind of sweet. Meh…
Yup that picture has a lot of foam and the camera doesnt lie. There is a lot of god damn foam in this. On the plus side it isnt really good. Wait… That isnt a good thing, just like this beer. HA! another joke. I am a fucking machine. Unfortunately after drinking this beer I am more like “The Machine” from that shit movie 8mm. Sad. I am giving the rest of this to M1.
I expected a punch in the mouth of peach in this but I was a little disappointed. At first I was just like blah, but there is a little more going on in here. The peach is there it is just subtle and sneaky. Like a second after taking a sip I get like a smooth stealth attack of the peach. It is like a Navy Seal team coming in and shooting my taste buds in the mouth. You arnt really sure what happened but there is no doubt something did happen.
Well I am kind of at a loss. I was really excited to try this because I have heard so many good things about 3 Floyds. Well it is good but it isnt that good. I mean I am totaly enjoying it but I would say that a Little Summin Summin is better. It is very crisp with that Pale Wheat taste to it. I like it but I probably wont be able to get it again.
I really like this. I like it REAL good! I am not sure what a White IPA is supposed to taste like because it doesnt actually exist as a style but what ever. I like this. It is definitely an American Pale Wheat Ale and while it is good it isnt as good a Little Summin Summin, but honestly that is an retardly awesome beer. What ever, it is kind of bitter and kind of light. But mostly it is just good.
This is really really good. Damn good. Very light tasting with most of the emphasis on the wheat. Both M1 and Dustard think there is a bourbon flavour in there but I disagree. I dont know, it is really good.
Meh… I have had 4 Stone IPA’s so this pretty much like drinking a cool glass of water. This isnt a fair review because I for real cant taste it… So I am going to make shit up. It is Ok, not very high IBU wise and it doesnt really have anything interesting going on in a unique taste way. But it isnt horrible. I dunno it isnt the worst beer I have ever had.
What the fuck?!?! This is really good. I fucking hate Anchor. For real I fucking hate them because they are litigous assholes. California Common is a style not your fucking trademark. But what ever. There is a really good, almost sharp tasting malt in this. It also has a delicous smell. For fucks sake this is a pretty good beer.
Pretty light tasting for a pale wheat ale but I like it. There is a citrus hint to it but not hop citrus. Like lemon I guess, it is hard to tell. Either way it works for me even tho I probably wouldnt drink a ton of them
Well I have had 4 Latitudes before drinking this beer so I cant really cant tell what it is supposed to taste like, but… I am fairly sure it is a run of the mill APWA and I am not saying that just because it is Coors. M1 and I were drinking this shit before Coors bought them and while I have never been a big fan of Blue Moon, M1 has always liked them and she still does. Either way I cant really get into this beer. M1 likes it tho…
Ohhh K! This is actually called ÜberSun (Imperial Summer Wheat Beer), which I didnt think was important in the title but after tasting, needs to be pointed out. I dont think I have ever had an Imperial Wheat before and after tasting this I am not sad. It isnt really horrible but it does have that Imperial overload taste to it. I pretty much hate Imperial’s and I am hatting this one to.
There we go, a Saranac American Pale Wheat Ale with a defining characteristic to it. Yes… Same as the Saranac Summer but with pomegranate, which makes me happy. Better then the Saranac Summer but still not something I am going to rush out to buy.
Not bad… Not good… Kind of right down the middle. I don’t think I am a huge fan of summer ale, which is strange because I have had a couple of American Pale Wheat Ales that I have really liked. There must be a subtle difference I am missing somewhere.
